Kinvara Football Club Events. 6th June 2008 Brazil vs. Venezuela, New England Revolution vs. Dallas FC (Doulde Header), Gillette Stadium June 6th 2008 - A number of club members will be attending this great event at the home of the New England Revolution, Gilette Stadium. Please contact the club Chairman if interested in attending this event. 29th June 2008 Kinvara F.C. Summer Cookout - Team members and family are invited and encouraged to attend the summer cookout, to be held on the patio of the Green Briar. More details to follow. 12th July 2008 Kinvara F.C. Under 30s vs Over 30s Match - An annually run game between current players and Kinvara F.C. alumni which takes place during the mid-season break. Games are always competitive and followed by food, beverages and stories of past glories on the pitch in the Green Briar Pub. This event coincides with... 12th July 2008 Kinvara F.C. Dinner and Raffle Fundraiser - A dinner and raffle are held annually at the Green Briar to help fund the club's activities. Cash and various spot prizes such as New England Revolution and Boston Red Sox tickets as well as Restaurant Vouchers and gift baskets are up for grabs for the 2008 drawing. Click here for this year's results. November 2008 Kinvara F.C. Awards - An annually run event hosted by the Green Briar Pub celebrating the previous season's exploits. Past Events May 2007 Rep. Of Ireland vs. Bolivia Fundraiser, Gillette Stadium May 26th 2007 - The club will provide match tickets and run a 50 seater bus to and from The Green Briar for the home of the New England Revolution for the game. Beer and sandwiches will be provided for the journey. A fee of $70 will cover tickets, bus, beer and snacks. Other Ideas Kinvara FC Comedy Night Fundraiser, Date TBD - It is hoped The Green Briar will host the inaugural Comedy Night this season. Three comedians will perform along with a special guest appearance by our own Pedro Magalhaes.
