Club History. The team was founded and originally played out of the Kinvara Pub in Allston from 1998 to 2005. The pub is named after a place in Co. Galway in Ireland (see Wikipedia entry on Kinvara). Since 2006, the team has been playing out of the Green Briar Pub in Brighton MA. Both pubs are members of the Briar Group Inc., our main team sponsor. There are still some surviving members from the early days, namely Brendan Joyce and Danny Concagh. These guys are defying their age and still playing at a high level. The club has enjoyed modest success over the years. Most recently, narrowly missing promotion in a playoff in 2005 and finishing third place in 2006. The 2007 team succeeded in gaining promotion to MSSL Division 1.
